"Over 20 years ago, I discovered an incredible correlation between the way people eat and what that revealed about their personalities...
From a young age, I was dubbed perceptive. I believe my heightened sensitivity to understand people and their non-verbal behaviors were born from my father's peppered eating style. My father was definitely my inspiration and my first subject. Based on his eating habits I understood what motivated him and what distressed him most. Most importantly, a peek into his thought process which ultimately revealed his behavioral tendencies. I applied this understanding to daily issues he dealt with. Incredibly, the two were in sync! What I tapped into was a way to reveal how a person would act or react in a given situation based on their instinctual habits with food.
Later, my love for psychology and need to validate my theory took me into the direction of studying Non-verbal Communication, Psychology and Persuasion. All the while, I continued with an empirical study observing hundreds of subjects. With that, Food-ology was born.
My research and study have paved the way for a revolutionary theory that CAN give us the necessary insight required for wiser judgments and more timely decisions.
The foundation of Food-ology is "food is life." How we act in and around food represents who we are - our character, our motivations, our strengths and fears - ultimately, how we think! and why we do the things we do.
Food-ology is timeless offering a gauge or microscope into our behavior over a lifetime. Similar to our evolving signatures, our food habits continue to evolve as well in sync with our character development, emotional events, maturity, environmental and health influencers.
Food is the one common denominator that binds everyone on this planet as equal. The most basic necessity required to sustain us all - regardless of our origin or economic status - is food. Just as we all need food instinctively, we all possess unique behaviors instinctively... behaviors that can reveal themselves through our eating habits.
So, I leave you to ponder you are HOW you eat as you enjoy your next meal… "
